The Domestic Violence Task Force is made up of 40 plus members of various Dallas area agencies whose primary focus is the prevention and eradication of domestic violence and the support of its victims. The task force’s current focus is on identifying potential lethality in domestic violence situations and ways to prevent lethality from occurring. The task force is also working to improve communication between the various departments on the task force.

Domestic Violence Task Force Report
The third Annual Domestic Violence Task Force Report was released on October 26, 2017. The report, prepared by Dr. Denise Paquette Boots and Dr. Timothy Bray of the Institute for Urban Policy Research at the University of Texas at Dallas, provides a snapshot analysis of the response by police, prosecutors and advocates to domestic violence in Dallas.
